ONE YEAR!! That's right Willi and I have been together for one year as of Saturday! I didn't get a chance to update this weekend though becasue I was too busy enjoying my time with the love of my life. I do love him a lot and I plan on spending the rest of my life with him!

ANYWAY! So my day today went by really fast...minus science, but what else is new. And I finished all of my homework for Cornerstone AND History...by 8!!! Now what? Hmm update I guess, I am even going to change my layout! Go me right?

So I was going to go to a movie tomorrow but those plans are off now because some other things came up. But tomorrow I am babysitting now which means money for me! Sweet!! Ummm let me see. Watched that one movie today (Al Gore one), it wasn't half bad. I started to space at the end though because I have a short attention spane...go figure! I really have nothing else to update on. I am so excited that Friday is almost here because I get to see Willi!!! YAY!!!! Now to stop influencing my roommate to blow off homework till tomorrow . Lata!

Man this week is going by fast. It is already going to be Wednesday!! And the rest of my week is booked...I LOVE IT! Tomorrow I have my classes then I have homework and the Al Gore movie to go see for Cornerstone. Thursday I have classes, work study, and I am going to see a movie with Margaret, Wes, and Nick!! Friday I am coming home and spending time with Willi. Saturday I am babysitting my wonderful neice who doesnt cry for 2 straight hours Amelia and Sunday is the bridal shower!!! Whoo! But now time for some ICONS because I feel like it!!!

Okay so I figured I would be nice and update more often from now on, I mean I am on here enough why not update right? So my weekend was glorious!!!

Friday Dave and Willi came to pick me up, I had just gotten done packing my stuff when they called to say they were in downtown Dubuque. I gave Willi the biggest hug because I was sooo happy to see him, it made me so happy inside! So showed Dave my room and he claimed it was really small...however it was the first dorm he had ever seen so I was like whatever! Then we got in the car and started to head home...yeah most definately passed out like 10 or 20 minutes into the ride, but it was a good ride nonetheless. Got home and talked to my dad, brother, and sister for a while before I left for Willi's so that we could go to Coy's birthday party...WHICH WAS OUTSIDE! It was cold therefore I was cold, yeah but it was all good. Then we left to go watch a movie at Willi's house. It was great! I loved it!

Saturday I got up early and was told to dust and vaccum...wtf? Then I was told that since I left my mom does all the cleaning all I had to say was HA! I told you so! Then I got in the shower to get ready to go to Uncle Victors. Willi came by and we went to get the cake and the rice and beans with my mom. We got out there and at first we just sort of chilled then volleyball got started up...of course! And you know I enjoy playing volleyball but I dont because I always get criticized about it Well they dragged Willi into it and I got to watch kids all day. That was fun..not so much! Then I went back to the house with Melissa and Willi and I went to hang out. It was more fun then the party was. After that I came home and talked with Ben and Lucus for a while then packed up my bag Then went to bed because I was just tired.

Sunday I got up at 5:45!!!! I had to get ready to go to 7 AM mass and my dad decided he wanted to go as a family. We went and then they decided to go to the doughnuts and coffee thing after that to talk to Father Shabb. Sooo then got home and called Willi so he could come get me. He did and we went back to his house. We got in the van and were on the road for Baraboo Wisconsin. Coy cried a lot...yeah but it wasnt horrible. We got there and it was interesting. I know now how Willi felt when he first met my family. Oh and we listened to polka a lot..that was great watching his mom polka. It was nice. Then around 6ish we got back in the van to head home. Coy seriously cried for all but maybe 20 miutes of the two hour trip to Dubuque. I was like getting such a head ache. It just made me love Amelia even more. So got to Clarke and Willi walked me to the door and we said our good-byes. Then I cant remember really the rest of the night.

Today was pretty good for a Monday. Got up showered and got ready for classes. Jess and I went to breakfast together and I totally aced my Lit test. Then I went to math and found out that I got a B on the test because my teacher took like 2 points off if you missed one of the steps (or part of it). Then I came back to my room and updated my myspace. Went to Kristen's to eat lunch becuase I didn't feel like eating alone and I needed to give her something. Science wasnt too bad because the lab was easy and I actually think she is starting to like me! But like some of the readings werent coming out right...which made Heidi and I frustrated which is where I got my quote of the day. Now I am watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch because I am bored and writing this.

Anyway I am off to do my homework!! Later

So right now I am at work study...and I should be working but I really dont feel like it. I more feel like I need a good nap! And I decided why not do an actual update instead? I know you all would love that, and I shall break it down into sub-topics only because if I dont I will take too long!!

School
Okay so school has really been going great. I love almost all of my classes except science..but hey what else is new? I am soo not a science type of person...period. My Lit. class I love though!! And my history class is even better because she doesnt believe in tests!! That's right no history tests for Lauren!! Math..is sooo easy it kills me inside, but oh well easy A right? Cornerstone...that is easy but I really dont like all the freakin crap we have to do in there...I mean I dont mind work but she gives us some stupid stuff to do sometimes. But classes are going well and thank God none of them are like Mr Adams class and all his busy work. But I have to thank that man because I now realize when my professors assign me a 4-5 page paper and my class mates freak and I am like ha that is nothing! Oh well live and learn right?

Work
I dont have a set job like I did with BVI per say. I have work study instead. Where I work in some part of the school to help pay for my tuition. I work for Norm Freund in the Philosophy Dept. It isnt so bad, I just miss the whole interaction between people my age. Now I make copies and do computer work..OH and use a type writer ever so often, and get his mail. But sometimes I stop and talk to some people on campus while working..oh well

Friends
I miss my old friends uber much! I will be honest there is no one up here like them. But I have adjusted well and made new friends. They are all great and we get along really well. My roommate and I are like two peas in a pod. We get along great!! And our room looks uber sweet (see past pictures OR my facebook)

Love Life
It is hard being away from Willi all the time, but we manage just fine. Actually today he is coming to pick me up with Dave to take me home! This will be the first time we have seen each other in a few weeks, I am super excited! I think people are right, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I love him!!

I suppose that really is all for right now. I need to get going on this thing Norm is having me type up before I need to leave for class. So until next time!!
